DEAF Accounts List and Search Procedure PDF View
The depositor would, however, be entitled to claim from the bank their deposit or any other unclaimed amount or operate account after the expiry of ten years, even after such amount has been transferred to the Fund. The Bank would be liable to pay the amount to the depositor/claimant and claim refund of such amount from the Fund.
The list of accounts whose balances are transferred to DEAF A/c with RBI are given below classified in to various Account Lists. The list contains name and address of accounts whose funds has been transferred.
The list is classified by first name of Account holder. You can search through and if you find it matching with your name and address, you can follow the following procedure to claim for amount.
CLAIM Procedure
You can call on 03228-266048 (of Main Office, HO) to get further information and verify the account details like account no., branch details etc. and balance before you approach for claim.
Once you are sure of details, you can approach branch for claim of amount with following separate documents for KYC compliance.
- One “Pass port” size photo
- One copy of “address proof”(Self attested)
- One copy of “Photo ID” (Self attested )
- Other documents if any like “pass book” etc.
